Apply in this order

Step
1. Entity registration, PAN, current account
2. Lease with commercial usage clause; utility bill in the entity's name
3. FSSAI, GST, shop & establishment
4. Fire NOC — talk to the fire officer before the kitchen is built
5. Trade licence, eating house licence, health licence
6. Liquor licence — start early, check address feasibility before the lease
7. Signage, lift, weights and measures, music

Renewal reminders

One owner, one calendar, a reminder 60 days before each date. FSSAI licences issued from April 2026 do not expire, but their annual fee is still due — non-payment suspends you automatically, so it goes on this list too.
